The IAM believes they finally have some leverage with Boeing after 16 years of giving ground. They have prepared for a strike in 2024 for years. Negotiations began in earnest at a Seattle hotel on August 12th. It takes 2/3’s of the members voting for a strike for it to occur. We believe that a strike is likely to be authorized.
